Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to become a Production Operative with our expanding Kinross based client.
What’s on offer? Along with immediate starts; full training; and a supportive working environment, you will benefit from a salary of £12.10 to £14.68 per hour, with a shift to suit you – Day, Back & Night Shift Available!
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm (with an early Friday finish) @ £12.10 p/h
- Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11:15pm (with an early Friday finish) @ £14.16 p/h
- Night Shift: Sunday, 12am to 7am & Monday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am @ £14.68 p/h
Working as a Production Operative you will be responsible for:
- Operating a wide range of production machinery
- Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
- Cleaning production machinery
- Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
- Monitoring the production line ensuring a smooth flow of production
- Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
- Storing goods and raw materials in the warehouse
- Adhering to relevant H&S regulations when operating machinery and handling products
- Keeping work areas and the production floor clean and free from hazards
- Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines
To be successful as a Production Operative you will ideally have previous experience in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to work on your own and as part of a team; and great attention to detail.
