Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to become a Hygiene Operative with our Ingliston based client.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
- £12.71 per hour – paid weekly
Your role as a Hygiene Operative will include:
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of lorry trailers using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Removing dirt, debris, and any leftover materials from trailers to prepare them for their next use
- Carrying out routine inspections of trailers and reporting any damage or maintenance issues to management
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures, using the correct PPE at all times
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring cleaning equipment is stored correctly after use
- Completing any required cleaning records or paperwork accurately
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Please Note: Showers are located on-site and are available for workers to use.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have strong experience within a similar role. Combined with:
- Experience of working to strict procedures and compliance requirements
- Forklift license is advantageous but not required
- Previous experience in confined spaces is advantageous but not required – full training is provided
