We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individuals to become a Food Production Operative with our Wishaw based client.
What’s on offer? Full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm (with an early Friday finish) – paid weekly at £11.44 per hour (rising to £12 after 13 weeks).
As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Maintaining proper housekeeping in a food production environment
- Cleaning of industrial machinery, floors, work surfaces and production machinery
- Working with cleaning products, and power cleaning tools
- Maintain set hygiene standards in line with company and culture requirements
- Performing general production and packaging duties as required
- Hand picking and packing products
To be successful in this food production role you will have previous experience working in a production, manufacturing or similar environment, ideally in a food related background. Combined with:
- Strong time-keeping and organisational skills
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- High understanding of audit requirements (advantageous)
- High understanding of Health & Safety (advantageous)
- Knowledge of PPE & Safety equipment (advantageous)
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene (advantageous)
