Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Cask Handler to join our client based in Broxburn.
Our client operates a busy spirit filling and warehousing facility, offering consistent work with an early finishes and immediate starts available.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Your choice of early or back shift:
- Early: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
- OR
- Back: Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 12am
- Paid weekly at £13.80 per hour
- Immediate start available
As a Cask Handler, your duties will include:
- Safely moving spirit in line with established process procedures
- Supporting filling, warehousing and disgorging activities across the site
- Handling empty casks safely and efficiently
- Meeting targets for quality, service and cost
- Working in line with health and safety requirements at all times
To be considered as a Cask Handler, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months cask handling experience
- A valid forklift license is beneficial but not required
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with drinks industry legislation and health and safety requirements around cask handling is advantageous
- A reliable, safety-focused approach to work
