Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join an established vehicle repair and maintenance business based in Kirkcaldy on a full-time permanent basis, paying £40,000+ per annum.
Our client operates a busy workshop maintaining a modern fleet of vehicles, offering consistent Monday to Friday hours with overtime available.

- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm – this may vary depending on business requirements

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work across a modern fleet of vehicles
- Completing inspections, identifying faults and raising them with the Workshop Manager
- Completing all relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate records of work carried out
- Following company policies and procedures, particularly around health and safety
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop environment
To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:
- Proven experience in a mechanic or vehicle technician role
- Good attention to detail with basic computer skills
- A punctual, reliable and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
