Connect Appointments are working with a nationally recognised client to recruit for a HGV Mechanic on a permanent basis in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire!
Salary: £36,000 to £42,000 per annum (regular overtime available)
Working as a HGV Mechanic:
- Carry out diagnostic repairs, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and quality in the work completed
- Relining brake pads, changing airbags, replacing valves, and more
- Complying with time recording procedures and ensure that job cards are completed accurately

- Any other duties required to keep the workshop running effectively
The successful HGV Mechanic will have previous experience of maintenance work on trailers, tankers and other types of units. Combined with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
