Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver’s Mates for ad hoc temporary work with our Carlisle based client.
What’s on offer?
- Ad hoc temporary position – flexible availability is essential
- £12.81 per hour – paid weekly
- Overtime paid at £19.22 per hour
As a Driver’s Mate, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the delivery and installation of goods into customer homes
- Loading and unloading furniture and heavy items safely and efficiently
- Handling goods carefully to avoid damage throughout the delivery process
- Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
To be considered as a Driver’s Mate, you will need:
- Good physical fitness due to the demanding nature of the role
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
- The ability to pass a DBS/Disclosure check
- Full flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis at short notice
