Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver’s Mates for ad hoc temporary work with an established delivery business based in Inverness.
Please Note: This is ad hoc work with no guaranteed hours. Candidates must be fully flexible and available at short notice.
What’s on offer?
- Ad hoc temporary position – flexible availability essential
- Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour
- Overtime paid at £18.40 per hour for hours worked over 45 in a single week
As a Driver’s Mate, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the delivery and transportation of goods to customer locations
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
- Supporting the driver with navigation and paperwork as required
To be considered as a Driver’s Mate, you will need:
- A valid DBS/Disclosure certificate is essential
- Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
