Connect Appointments are seeking a reliable and experienced Business Development Lead to join our growing client!

As our client works primarily within the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors, your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities within these national and international markets. Their office is based in Livingston, so hybrid working options can be discussed.

Working as a Business Development Lead:

  • Conducting detailed market research including the identification of prospects, industry trends and business opportunities
  • Maintaining and developing excellent relationships with clients, working with them to ensure their needs are met
  • Presenting tailored solutions and proposals to clients
  • Working in collaboration with key industry names to expand the company’s reach

The successful Business Development Lead will have the following skills and traits:

  • Proven track record of working a Business Development/Sales position
  • Previous experience working within an Engineering/Oil & Gas/Renewables company
  • Ability to leverage market analysis tools to make decisions and produce technically accurate proposals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Environmental Science)
