Connect Appointments are working with a company experiencing a strong surge in demand who require a Workshop Fitter in Cumbernauld on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Pay rate: £14 per hour (£17 CIS)
Ideally, the successful Workshop Fitter will have experience of working in a tight-nit manufacturing environment and are happy to work within a variety of areas of the business. You are not required to be a skilled tradesman in all areas, but having a variety of skills will benefit your application.
Other beneficial skills, competencies and expertise:
- Mechanical trades experience (such as plumbing, electrical and joinery)
- Experience with circular sawing
- Mechanical and shop fitting
- Light gauge steel work
- Welding, fabrication and mechanical assembly
- Valid forklift and driving licence
- CSCS card
