Connect Appointments are recruiting a Welder/Fabricator to join our client’s team at their Cumbernauld site.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm (with an early finish on Friday)
Pay rate: £15.50 per hour (overtime paid up to £23.25 per hour)
Our client operates from sites in mainland UK and delivers to OEM clients in various sectors, including: Earth Moving, Bus, Truck, Material handling, and Renewables.
The successful Welder/Fabricator will undertake the following duties:
- Following technical drawings/specifications while welding and fabricating
- Operating specialist equipment safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Meeting all production deadlines
For this Welder/Fabricator role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant qualifications/experience in welding and fabricating
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow manufacturing drawings and product plans
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
