Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Weld Robot Operator to join our client based in Prestwick.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time position working 39 hours per week
- DAY OR BACK shift available
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15 pm – paid at £12.10 p/h
- Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1:15am – paid at £16.14 p/h
- Overtime available
Working to specific company and industry requirements, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting, calibrating and operating robotic welding equipment
- Conducting analysis of specifications to ensure appropriate settings are used
- Welding components, ensuring that there is no distortion or errors made
- Conducting quality checks regularly
The ideal Weld Robot Operator will have:
- The ability to follow standards and work to KPIs
- The ability to follow key health & safety policies at all times
- Previous experience as a Skilled/Semi-Skilled Welder
- Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills
- The flexibility to work overtime when necessary
