Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.
Our client operates a busy parcel sorting facility, offering a choice of night shift or back shift across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position – 35 hours per week
- Choice of two shifts:
- Night shift: 3am to 11:30am
- Back shift: 3pm to finish
- £12.71 per hour – paid weekly
- Full training provided
As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently
- Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse
- Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
- Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment
To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:
- Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous – full training provided
- Strong teamworking skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
