Connect Appointments is recruiting Order Pickers to join work with our Bathgate based client.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Shifts based off a 3-week rota, with eveyr one weekend in three off
- Shifts start at 4pm, typically finishing between 11pm and midnight (occasionally later)
- Base pay of £15.20 per hour (£19 for hours worked between 10pm and 4am)
Please note: Access to your own transport is essential due to the location of the site and the shift pattern.
As an Order Picker, your duties will include:
- Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate and pick correct items for shipment
- Safely picking items from shelves and packaging completed orders
- Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
To be considered as an Order Picker, you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- The ability to operate picking machines and carry out manual picking
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A reliable approach to work, both independently and as part of a team
