Connect Appointments are seeking additional Warehouse Operatives to join our Bathgate based logistics client.
This is a temporary ongoing opportunity leading to fill-time permanent employment with our client.
What’s on offer:
- 30-hours per week
- Working 5 days over 7 – start times of 4pm
- Paid weekly at £14.68 to £18.35 per hour
- £14.68 between the hours of 4am and 10pm
- £18.35 between the hours of 10pm and 4am
As an Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:
- Safely picking items from shelves
- Packaging completed orders
- Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork
- Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries
- Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary
To be successful in this warehouse position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to using picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
