Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to join our Fraserburgh based clients professional workshop team.

Key responsibilities as a Vehicle Spray Painter?

  • Inspect and prepare vehicles prior to the painting process, ensuring surfaces are suitable for refinishing
  • Apply paint finishes to vehicles using modern spraying equipment and current industry techniques
  • Complete work to a consistently high standard to ensure quality results and customer satisfaction
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at all times
  • Contribute to workshop productivity by completing tasks within agreed timeframes and supporting production schedules
  • Communicate any issues that could impact work progress, efficiency, or completion deadlines
  • Recognise and report any potential or existing health and safety risks within the working environment
  • Maintain spray equipment, tools, and workspaces in a clean, organised, and operational condition

What we’re looking for?

  • Proven experience working as a commercial or vehicle spray painter within a workshop or similar environment
  • Strong understanding of spray painting processes, including paint preparation, mixing, and application techniques
  • Ability to produce work to a high standard with strong attention to detail and finish quality
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Able to manage workload independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Interest in the automotive sector, with experience following manufacturer methods or working in a fast-paced production environment
