Connect Appointments are recruiting a Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our Cupar based client.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- £12.44 per hour – paid weekly
- Ongoing temporary contract
As a Van Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will deliver material to locations across Fife, the Central Belt, and Aberdeenshire.
- Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
- Delivering parcels and goods to customers on designated routes
- Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers
- Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they’re accurate
- Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
- Cleaning and servicing van for the next delivery
- Daily reporting and inputting of metrics into store systems
To be successful within this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role. Combined with:
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six points
- Good eyesight and hearing
- Good timekeeping skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work with little supervision
