Connect Appointments are recruiting an individual to become a Transport Admin Assistant with our Newbridge based delivery client.

What’s on offer?

  • Ongoing temporary position
  • 5 days over 7, working 8am to 4:30pm
  • Paid weekly at £12.29 per hour
  • Overtime paid up to £18.90 per hour
  • Full training and immediate starts available

Working as a Transport Admin Assistant, your main role will be to assist drivers who are out performing deliveries by providing directions, customer information, and assisting with any other queries that they have.

To be successful in this admin role, you will have a basic level of computer literacy; along with the ability to easily communicate information via phone – clear communication is a must!

Other key skills and traits include:

  • Excellent team-working skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great organisational and record-keeping skills
  • The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
