Connect Appointments are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious Livingston based manufacturing clients. With over five decades of experience, our client is known for producing high-quality display cases for global institutions, private collectors, royal families, and more.

We’re looking for a Site Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-spec installation projects around the world. Based from the company’s Livingston office, this role will involve UK and international travel, spending approximately 70% of your time on client sites.

Working as a Site Manager, your duties will include:

  • Leading installation teams on high-profile projects across the UK and overseas
  • Planning and managing site labour, materials, equipment, and costs to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Conducting site visits, producing build and logistics plans, and identifying potential risks
  • Coordinating with internal teams and third-party suppliers, logistics providers, and clients
  • Overseeing all health, safety, quality, and compliance documentation and reporting
  • Supervising subcontractors and in-house staff to maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Collaborating with departments including project management, design, and manufacturing
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and training to site personnel

To be successful in this Site Manager role, we’re looking for someone with proven experience managing installation or construction sites. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally
  • Health & Safety knowledge, including COSHH regulations
  • Skilled in site documentation, client liaison, and subcontractor management
  • IT literate – comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
