Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production/Hygiene Operative to join an established food manufacturing business based in Kirkcaldy.
Our client is an award-winning frozen food manufacturer with over 30 years of history, part of an international food group supplying major retail and foodservice brands from their busy Fife facility.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
- Paid weekly at £14.27 per hour
As a Production/Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:
- Packing and labelling finished products accurately
- Preparing and processing raw materials
- Cleaning production machinery, equipment and factory areas as part of daily hygiene procedures
- Operating production machinery including mixing equipment and production lines – full training provided
- Lifting and moving boxes weighing approximately 15 to 20kg
To be considered as a Production/Hygiene Operative, you will need:
- Good physical fitness due to the manual handling requirements of the role
- A reliable, thorough approach to work with an understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
