About the Role?

As a Polymer Processing Operator, you will play a key role in processing a range of polymer materials used for potting and encapsulation. You will support production activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing various polymer materials for potting and encapsulation
  • Operating polymer processing equipment and handling bulk chemicals
  • Priming components to ensure optimal adhesion between substrates and polymers
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to strict engineering production standards and controls
  • Completing production documentation in line with ISO9001 requirements
  • Preparing and assembling moulds
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the laboratory
  • Working effectively as part of a team in a production environment

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience with polymer processing equipment and bulk chemical handling. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:

  • Knowledge of GLP, COSHH, and ISO standards
  • Competency in Microsoft Office packages
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
