About the Role?
As a Polymer Processing Operator, you will play a key role in processing a range of polymer materials used for potting and encapsulation. You will support production activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing various polymer materials for potting and encapsulation
- Operating polymer processing equipment and handling bulk chemicals
- Priming components to ensure optimal adhesion between substrates and polymers
- Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Ensuring adherence to strict engineering production standards and controls
- Completing production documentation in line with ISO9001 requirements
- Preparing and assembling moulds
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the laboratory
- Working effectively as part of a team in a production environment
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience with polymer processing equipment and bulk chemical handling. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:
- Knowledge of GLP, COSHH, and ISO standards
- Competency in Microsoft Office packages
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
