Connect Appointments are recruiting Mixing Operatives to join our food manufacturing client based in Shotts.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm shift (early finish every Friday!)
- £13.05 per hour (rising to £15.25 p/h after completing training)
- Paid weekly – with all breaks paid!!
As a Mixing Operative, your duties will include:
- Mixing ingredients together accurately, following set recipes
- Weighing out ingredients to the correct specifications
- Working in line with company policies and procedures at all times
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the mixing process
- Completing quality checks and production documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards
To be considered as a Mixing Operative, you will need:
- At least 6 months experience in a food production environment
- The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and recipes accurately
- Good attention to detail and strong time-keeping skills
- Own transport preferable due to site location and working hours
