Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Shop Supervisor with our established employee-owned East Kilbride based client. Please note that the successful candidate must have previous experience in a Machine Operating supervisory role.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time position, 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Eligibility for the client’s profit-sharing bonus scheme
- 32 days annual leave
Working as a Machine Shop Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and overseeing a team of Welders and Machine Operators
- Ensuring consistent standards in quality of finished components
- Identifying areas of improvement within production processes
To be successful as a Machine Shop Supervisor you will have previous machine operating experience, ideally in a supervisory capacity. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to read mechanical detail drawings; and great attention to detail.
