Connect Appointments are seeking a Machine Operator to join our prestigious client based in the Inverclyde area.

Salary: £22,300 per annum, with progression through a structured/skills matrix which will allow you to increase your earning potential!
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:15am to 4:30pm. Friday, 7:15am to 1:30pm
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Observing packages and identifying defective packaging
- Transferring loaded pallets to storage or delivery platforms
- Supplying loading equipment with empty pallets
- Stopping equipment to clear jams
- Informing your supervisor of equipment malfunction
- Keeping record of production and equipment performance
- Checking and monitoring quality of product running through machines for any issues
- Ensuring only the best quality products are sent to the bottom of line
The ideal Machine Operator will have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience from a similar role
- Experience or background in engineering (advantageous)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, in a busy high-volume production and manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
