Connect Appointments is recruiting Industrial Hygiene Operatives to join an established business based in Rosyth on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment.
Our client operates a busy production facility, requiring reliable and motivated operatives to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across their site.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- £13.20 per hour (day shift) and £15.00 per hour (night shift)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x your hourly rate
- Rotating two-week shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 6am to 6:30pm OR 6pm to 6:30am
- Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday; 6am to 6:30pm OR 6pm to 6:30am
As an Industrial Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:
- Cleaning floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis, including work at height and in confined spaces
- Responding to spillages and environmental concerns promptly
- Completing daily paperwork and liaising with other departments to meet customer requirements
- Maintaining health, safety and quality standards throughout the facility
To be considered as an Industrial Hygiene Operative, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role
- Experience working to strict procedures and compliance requirements
- A forklift licence and confined space experience are both advantageous – full training provided where needed
