Connect Appointments are on the hunt for an experienced HGV Mechanic/Technician to join and strengthen our clients growing team. This is a full-time permanent position, based in South Shields.
Working as a HGV Mechanic/Technician:
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hours per day, between 9am and 5:30pm
- £18 to £20 p/h (DOE); with overtime available
You will be working for a family based transport company, undertaking the following duties: General HGV maintenance; MOT preparation; Fabrication repairs; Breakdown assistance – when required.
To be successful in this HGV Mechanic/Technician role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 1 years previous experience; and all up to date experience
- A valid class one license
- Understand the importance of an operators license
- Understand the pricing of materials
