Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver for ongoing temporary work with our Sheffield-based client.
Our client operates within the waste and refuse collection sector, running planned collection routes across the Sheffield area.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4pm
- £15.60 per hour, paid weekly
As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include:
- Driving on planned refuse collection routes across the local area
- Supervising your team throughout the shift
- Adhering to all road safety and waste collection procedures
- Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation accurately
The ideal HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver will have:
- A valid Class 2 licence with a minimum of one year’s HGV driving experience
- A minimum of one year’s refuse driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements
