Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night shift air cargo work based in Manchester – delivering to airports across the region with no nights out required.
Our client operates a busy air cargo logistics operation, offering consistent night shift work with competitive pay rates and a clear pathway for drivers looking to obtain their Level D security clearance.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing position – no nights out
- 5 shifts per week, Monday to Sunday
- Start times between 7pm and 10pm
- Paid weekly at the following rates:
- £18.50 per hour for drivers requiring a Level D security course
- £20.00 to £25.00 per hour for drivers with existing Level D clearance
Please note: All loads are security tagged and sealed at site – drivers have no contact with the cargo at any point.
To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
- A Level D security clearance or willingness to obtain one
