Connect Appointments are seeking a talented Field Service Manager to join our client’s team in Inverkeithing, and help drive innovation in the offshore wind sector.

As a Field Service Manager, you’ll oversee the resource planning, technician deployment, welfare and HSE compliance, documentation accuracy, and performance reporting. You’ll ensure continuous improvement through KPI monitoring, process development, and proactive identification of service and revenue opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE: This role requires occasional UK and international travel, as well as visits to offshore asset.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Represent the voice of customers and field service technicians
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the day‑to‑day deployment and performance of field service technicians and subcontractors
- Ensure all field personnel are fully supported, including welfare, HSE compliance, tools, materials, equipment, and access to technical information
- Ensure logistical plans are in place and effective to support field operations
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of field service records, job documentation, and operational reports
- Monitor training and competency records to confirm personnel maintain required certifications and that refresher training is scheduled as needed
- Support the preparation of quotations and estimates for field service work
- Manage service department P&L in line with company targets
To be successful in this Field Service Manager role, you’ll be educated to bachelor’s standards in business management, engineering, or related field. Combined with having worked for a minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service role including supervisory leadership experience.
Other key skills, traits and experiences include:
- An understanding of contractual requirements and service level agreements
- Knowledge of offshore operations (advantageous but not essential)
- Proficiency in IT, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
- Full UK driving licence and a valid passport
