Connect Appointments is currently seeking an experienced Factory Oparative to join our client’s team in West Auckland. This is a permanent opportunity to take the lead in a well-established manufacturing environment.
What’s on offer:
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Regular hours (Monday to Friday – no weekends!)
- Starting rate of £12.21 per hour (which could increase after 3 months)
Key responsibilities as a Factory Operative:
- Operate woodworking machinery (beam saws, edge banders, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and Health & Safety-compliant workspace
- Contribute to a productive and positive working environment
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a factory role, ideally working in kitchen, wood shop factories would be good
- Forklift licence essential
- Hands-on experience of beam saws, edge banders, and similar equipment
- Attention to detail
- Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
