Connect Appointments is recruiting an Extrusion Machine Operator to join an established Rhyl-based manufacturer on a permanent basis.
Our client operates from a busy production facility in Rhyl, with a strong focus on quality output and continuous improvement across their manufacturing operations.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Rotating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am
- £12.71 per hour, paid weekly
As an Extrusion Machine Operator, your duties will include:
- Setting up and operating automated extrusion machines in line with production specifications
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain quality and output
- Loading raw materials and ensuring correct material usage for each production run
- Inspecting finished products to confirm they meet quality and dimensional standards
- Completing production records, quality checks and downtime logs accurately
The ideal Extrusion Machine Operator will have:
- Previous experience operating extrusion or similar automated production machinery
- A good understanding of machine controls and automated production processes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor quality and identify faults
- Good health and safety awareness within a manufacturing environment
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
