Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrician to join an established food and drink manufacturer based in Newbridge on a permanent basis.
Our client operates a busy production and bottling facility, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:15pm
- £39,634 per annum, paid monthly
As an Electrician, your duties will include:
- Providing scheduled maintenance on all electrical equipment, components and installations
- Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Leading electrical project work across the site
- Supporting and providing guidance to external contractors alongside the Engineering Supervisor
- Providing electrical support to the bottling lines
The ideal Electrician will have:
- A strong understanding of plant machinery, electrical systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- The ability to diagnose electrical faults and implement solutions effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
- 18th Edition electrical qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Ex01 to Ex04 certification for hazardous locations (preferred but not essential)
