Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity available for a CNC Machinist with experience in milling and turning in Eurocentral, North Lanarkshire on a permanent basis.
Our client are major global players in optimising manufacturing and production for customers in sectors ranging from energy to transportation. As they continue to expand their presence, they are looking for a CNC Machinist on a permanent basis to contribute to the company’s operations.
Rate of pay: £32,943 per annum, (increases up to £49,292 per annum after shift allowances, bonuses etc).
Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts)
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to a good level of quality that will meet our client’s standards. You will also be responsible for:
- Producing according to drawings and specifications
- Adjusting the operation of the machine, including cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut, when required
- Looking for areas of improvement and opportunities to reduce waste
- Following all safety procedures and policies
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:
- Programming and setting skills (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Completed a machining apprenticeship
