Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced AC Engineer to join and strengthen our client’s existing team. They’re a well-established, ever-growing HVAC and Mechanical company that have been trading since 2003.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 08:15 to 16:30, (overtime available), across Boldon and the North East.
As a AC Engineer your role will focus on commissioning, servicing, fault finding, installing and maintaining splits, multi splits, VRV and VRF air conditioning systems along with working on ASHP and cold rooms within the Northeast & Cumbria area.
Other duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Fault Finding on Split, Multisplit & VRV/VRF air conditioning systems along with cold room applications
- Servicing and maintenance of Split, Multi split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
- Commissioning of Split, Multisplit & VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
- Service, Commissioning and fault finding to Heat Recovery ventilation systems
- Dealing with emergencies and unplanned breakdowns – inclusion in out of hours on call rota
To be successful within this Engineer position, you will be a time served fully qualified refrigeration air conditioning engineer. With the relevant qualifications or equivalent to NVQ level 3 in refrigeration and air conditioning. Combined with the following skills and traits:
- Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of Air Conditioning installations within commercial buildings
- City and Guilds 2079-1
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving License
