Connect Appointments is recruiting 7.5 Tonne Drivers for bulk delivery and collection work in the Appleton Thorn area of Warrington.
Our client runs a self-load and tip operation covering Warrington and the surrounding area, with a choice of working week to suit you.
What’s on offer?
- Paid weekly at £16.05 per hour (or £17.99 with holiday pay rolled up)
- Your choice: Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday
- Both working weeks have a start time of 8am start
- Ongoing temporary work with the option to go permanent
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include:
- Delivering and collecting loads to and from customer sites
- Loading and tipping your own vehicle
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Keeping to drivers’ hours regulations
To be considered as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
- A valid C1 licence with a minimum of 1 year experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
- A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
