Connect Appointments is recruiting Production Operatives to join an established seafood processing business based in Buckie.
This is the skilled end of the production process, hands-on work with whole fresh salmon, with real variety across the shift and a clear route to a higher rate as your skills develop.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
- £13.78 per hour, rising to £14.42 per hour once trained to skilled operator level
- Overtime available paid at 1.5X after 40 hours – £20.67 per hour
- Full training provided
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Working with whole fresh salmon at the first stage of the production process
- Deheading, trimming, slicing and pin-boning to quality standards
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards throughout the shift
To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:
- Knife skills are an advantage, but full training is provided
- A level of physical fitness as the role involves lifting and repetitive movement
- A reliable approach with a strong work ethic
