Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Chelmsley Wood.
Our client operates a busy store delivery operation across the Midlands, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with a 6am start.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, s6am starts
- Shifts averaging 10 hours
- Paid weekly at £18.49 per hour – inclusive of holidays
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing store deliveries across the Midlands – 16 pallets over 10 to 12 drops per day
- Unloading using a pump truck
- Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times
To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
