Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Technician to join a well-established industrial business based in Bathgate!
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm (flexibility may be required)
- £20 per hour (overtime available)
As an HGV Technician, your duties will include:
- Maintaining vehicles in line with DVSA and company requirements
- Carrying out MOT preparation and basic vehicle checks including tyre pressure, oil levels and wiper condition
- Supporting the maintenance team with general vehicle upkeep
- Completing all relevant paperwork related to vehicle maintenance
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety standards
To be considered as an HGV Technician, you will need:
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician (ideally also qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance)
- Full UK driving licence
- A reliable, professional approach to work
- C or C&E licence (preferred, but not essential)
