Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join an established logistics business based in Widnes.
Our client operates a busy transport operation, requiring an experienced HGV Mechanic to support fleet maintenance and repairs.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Working week of Monday to Friday
- Your choice of 6am to 4pm, or 8am to 6pm
- £19 to £20 per hour – dependent on experience
As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:
- Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on HGV vehicles
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently
- Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
- Ensuring all work meets relevant safety and compliance standards
To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience as an HGV Mechanic
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is preferred but not essential
- A reliable, professional approach to work
