Connect Appointments is recruiting a Car Technician to join a fast-growing, award-winning used car retail business based in Nelson.

What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Working week of Monday to Friday
- £30,250 to £39,000 per annum – dependent on experience
As a Car Technician, your duties will include:
- Carrying out repairs, servicing and mechanical work from routine maintenance to complex repairs
- Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic tools and methods
- Conducting road tests and accurately reporting findings
- Logging job times, parts used and technician notes accurately
- Ensuring all work meets “right first time” standards and agreed service KPIs
To be considered as a Car Technician, you will need:
- A recognised qualification such as a Level 3 Diploma or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- A full UK driving licence – preferably clean
- The ability to work confidently with diagnostic tools and a range of workshop equipment
