Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Cask Handler to join our client’s site in Glenrothes.

- Working Monday to Friday – across day shift hours
- Paid at £28,000 per annum

Working as a Cask Handler, you will be responsible for the safe movement of casks within an established set of process procedures, including:
- Re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection
- Accurate record keeping when filling and disgorging casks
- Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Use of a forklift to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs
To be successful in this Cask Handler role, you will:
- Have previous experience in a warehousing environment – ideally working with spirits
- Have a valid UK driver’s license
- Have a valid forklift license
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
