Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Manchester – with immediate starts available.
Our client offers a mix of trunking and multidrop work across the North West, with consistent Monday to Friday shifts and competitive rates that increase at weekends.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
- Paid weekly at the following rates:
- Monday to Friday days: £16 per hour
- Monday to Friday nights: £17 per hour
- Saturday: £18 to £19 per hour
- Sunday and bank holidays: £19 to £20 per hour
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the North West
- Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections
- Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements
To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
