Connect Appointments is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work with an established haulage business based in Gatenby, near Leeming Bar (just off Junction 51 of the A1(M)).
Our client operates a busy general haulage operation with a modern fleet, offering competitive rates with day and night shifts available across 7 days a week.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing full-time position
- Day and night shifts available, 7 days a week, averaging 12 hours per shift
- Paid weekly at the following rates (inclusive of holiday pay):
- Day shift: £17.93 per hour
- Night shift: £19.05 per hour
- Saturday: £20.73 per hour
- Sunday: £21.85 per hour
To be considered as a Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
