Connect Appointments is recruiting a Welder to join a global manufacturing business based in Livingston.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm – with an early Friday finish
- £14 to £15.50 per hour – dependent on experience
- Immediate starts available
As a Welder, your duties will include:
- Reading and working from detailed CAD/CAM engineering drawings
- TIG and MIG welding across a variety of projects
- Working on general sheet metal work and light fabrications
- Using hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
The ideal Welder will have:
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- Proven TIG and MIG welding skills in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
