Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Engineer to join an established logistics business based in Cumbernauld.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Company vehicle provided
- NO stand-by or call-out work
As a Forklift Engineer, your duties will include:
- Servicing and repairing a fleet of forklift trucks across diesel, electric and gas-powered units
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance in line with scheduled programmes
- Liaising with the Service Coordinator regarding parts requirements
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
To be considered as a Forklift Engineer, you will need:
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining a variety of forklift trucks
- Experience working across diesel, electric and gas-powered forklifts is advantageous
- A high awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements
- Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to fault finding
