Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy on a full-time permanent basis, with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum.
Our client operates a busy facility with a fleet of HGV vehicles requiring ongoing maintenance within a heavy industrial environment, offering stable, long-term employment for the right candidate.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
- £38,000 to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Very occasional back shift and weekend cover required
As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:
- Carrying out regular servicing and preventative maintenance across a range of makes and models
- Responding to and resolving breakdown situations efficiently
- Maintaining accurate service, maintenance and compliance records
- Ensuring all work meets relevant safety standards
To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working on HGV units and trailers
- A valid UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional approach to work
