Connect Appointments is recruiting a Metal Polisher to join an established Oldham-based manufacturer on a permanent basis.
Our client is an innovative manufacturing business producing specialist products across a range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, telecoms and food infrastructure.
What’s on offer?
- A four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm
- Paid at £15.00 per hour
- Full-time permanent position
As a Metal Polisher, your duties will include:
- Applying a variety of finishes across different metals to a consistently high standard
- Managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively throughout the shift
- Working as part of a close-knit team on a varied range of manufacturing projects
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures at all times
The ideal Metal Polisher will have:
- A proven track record in metal polishing or a similar finishing trade
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet production targets
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to use their own initiative
