Connect Appointments are recruiting a General Operative to join our Lesmahagow based client.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time ongoing temporary position
- Working 5 days over 7 – various start times
- Paid weekly at £12.21 per hour
Working as a General Operative, your duties will include but aren’t limited to:
- Carry out general manual labour tasks as directed by supervisors, including lifting, loading and unloading materials
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Assist with site preparation, assembly, and installation work as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations at all times
- Support skilled tradespeople and other team members with daily operational tasks
- Report any faults, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor promptly
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks safely
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently as part of a team
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Flexible approach to work, including the ability to adapt to different tasks and working conditions
