Here at Connect Appointments we have a new opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Kirkcaldy based client.
As Mechanical Fitter, your day-to-day role will be carrying out equipment repairs and servicing on a range of equipment and machinery in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules. You’ll ensure any necessary spare parts are requested in order to facilitate efficient repairs.
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have:
- Mechanical/Electrical Qualification (such as NVQ) or proven experience
- Previous mechanical fitting working experience
- Experience and knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Experience with interpreting engineering drawings
- Knowledge and experience of pressure systems
What to expect from the role?
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00 – with an early Friday finish
- £21 per hour – paid weekly
- Overtime available – paid at £31.50 per hour
- Immediate starts available
