Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Fraserburgh based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.

We’re seeking a Panel Beater to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:

  • Assessing vehicles’ damage and determining where and how to perform the repair work
  • Stripping and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles
  • Carrying out extensive repair work using various methods in a modern fully equipped Accident Repair Centre in accordance with BSI standards
  • Replacing and repairing damaged panels
  • Welding new panels into place
  • Working to the highest standards ensuring quality of work meets customer expectation
  • Carry out all work tasks in a safe and responsible manner and adhere to company health and safety policies
  • Contribute to the delivery of the department’s work schedule, operating in the allocated times given
  • Identify and report any actual or potential health and safety-related issues
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and work area

To be successful in this Panel Beater role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
  • Basic computer skills for documentation.

What’s on offer? Permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary dependent on experience. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
